S. Maria ai Monti Church

The restoration project concerned the restoration of the frescoes, stuccoes and sculptures on wood, of the dome of the Church of the dome of S. Maria ai Monti in Rome. The decorations, made by many artists as well as Orazio Gentileschi, Cesare Nebbia, Paolo Guidotti and Ambrogio Buonvicino, were made at the end of 16th century. The decorations suffered over the years for many water infiltrations and several ancient interventions of restoration were carried out on the surfaces.
