Luigi Gentile - Rome
The painting on canvas was created in 1652 and depicts the “Holy Archbishop of Besançon”. It is located inside the sacristy of the SS. Andrea and Claudio of Borgognoni Church in Rome. The complete restoration of the painting was carried out as part of the general restoration of all the decorated surfaces of the interior of the Church carried out between 2022 and 2025 (currently being published).
