Baths of painted stuccoes - Rome

The restoration project involved the catalogation and restoration with recomposition and application on flat and curved mobile supports, of a part of fragments of the mural paintings from the monumental complex of the so-called "Baths of painted stuccoes" located in via Galvano della Volpe, Tor Vergata in Rome. The work consisted in the completion of a ICR restoration project in the laboratories at the ex Church of S.Marta in Rome, and involved the development .of a new method of intervention - currently being published - aimed at preserving the back of the old fragments.
